Studio Information and Policies

Parental involvement in each child’s practice time is highly recommended. Parental observation of students during class-time is welcomed. (Please do so quietly from the designated observation areas.) Observers and siblings are asked not to enter the class-room area unless you are planning to video tape the lesson for practice purposes. Dancers are also encouraged to bring blank cassette tapes to tape their lesson for practice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes with three or less students are subject to cancellation. If this occurs, you will receive a credit towards a different class.

ATTENDANCE/MISSED CLASS POLICIES

All students should make their best effort to attend class regularly. Attendance and punctuality are extremely important to the quality of the class. Tardiness and absence affects the student’s knowledge and confidence of the material taught.

There will be NO CREDIT OR REFUND OF TUITION for missed classes. All missed classes may be made up within a two-month period in the appropriate class. Missing a private lesson requires a minimum of 24-hour notification of the instructor. If a private lesson is missed without 24 hour prior notification of the instructor, no refund or make-up lesson will be given.

STUDIO ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any announcements concerning current events of the studio, scheduling, or information updates will be handed out in writing to every student.
